Where does Massage originate from?
Massage is one of the oldest therapies known to man. Some of the earliest writings come from China and date back to 3,000 BC. In ancient Greece massage was used to preserve health and aid healing and was seen as part of every day living. Nowadays massage is used world-wide to promote relaxation and well-being and is now seen by many as a necessary investment rather than a luxury.

What happens during a Massage treatment?
Holistic Treats will always make you feel relaxed, safe and comfortable throughout your Massage treatment. You may be required to remove some of your clothing, keeping your underwear on. You will be covered with towels throughout the treatment, and only the parts being massaged will be exposed, ensuring you feel warm and secure.
Together, we will run through a short, completely confidential health and lifestyle consultation prior to your first treatment. This is designed to identify your needs and expectations and allows me to adapt the massage treatment to suit you.
Please be aware that there are certain medical conditions which may require your doctor's permission before a treatment can take place, i.e. very high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, thrombosis, cancer, however this can be discussed during the consultation.

On-Site Massage
On-site massage is a 20-30 minute seated massage that is given to the client through their clothes whilst being seated in a specially designed ergonomic massage chair. It concentrates on the neck, shoulders, head, back and arms making it an ideal form of stress release.
This method of massage is ideal when time is short as there is no need to undress and no oil is used making it a great treatment to have in a lunch hour or straight after work.
Apologies but appointments for male clients are accepted by referral only
